Lakeside Sauna

For those who appreciate the authentic Finnish lifestyle, ONNI Village offers a wood-burning sauna situated right on the shores of Lake Saimaa. Every detail here is designed for true relaxation: the gentle heat of a wood-fired stove, wide benches, a spacious shower area, and a cosy lounge with panoramic windows overlooking the water.

After your sauna session, you can step directly outside to the lake for a refreshing dip in Saimaa. In the winter, an ice hole (avanto) awaits right by the sauna — a classic Finnish combination of heat and cold. Returning to the warm benches, it’s easy to let go of everyday worries and fully unwind.

Please keep in mind that while loud shouts of joy are highly encouraged when jumping into the lake, we ask that you wrap up your vocal celebrations by 22:00 out of respect for the peaceful forest nights ☺️

Magnificent!

We had a wonderful stay in September. The view of the lake is breathtaking! The house was just perfect, I really loved the open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen was modern and had all the amenities needed to cook a wonderful meal. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the sauna in the house, and there’s also a wood burning sauna you can reserve right by the lake—highly recommended!!

Simply Perfect!

We really liked the place, plenty of light and wonderful views. Sauna was great, the huge terrace is so enjoyable and having the boat is very nice. The place is very well located and everything we needed was in the cottage. There are plenty of amenities for children and the cottage is very well thought for families. Aleksandr is always ready to help and replies very very fast. Remarkably clean and comfortable place. In love with it, to be honest we would like to go back.
