ONNI Village is a perfect starting point for boat trips on Lake Saimaa. Guests can set off directly from the resort to enjoy the silence, fresh air, and stunning water views. There is a gentle current in the lake, so we recommend planning your route to head against it first, allowing for an effortless return trip.
Rowing boats are available to our guests free of charge. All necessary life jackets are provided in each cottage — we strongly recommend wearing them whenever you go out on open water.
For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, SUP boards are available for rent. They allow you to glide peacefully across the water, soaking in the lake’s tranquility and the beauty of the surrounding nature.
For guests arriving with their own boat, a convenient boat launch (slipway) is provided. Additionally, petrol outboard motors are available for rent, which is ideal for longer trips and fishing.

Magnificent!
An absolutely amazing lakeside cabin! The rooms were clean and tidy, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary utensils. The scenery is beautiful, and rowing on the lake was incredibly relaxing. The host was very welcoming and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back in the winter. ☺️
