On warm days, you can also enjoy sunbathing on your cottage’s private terrace, surrounded by the peace and quiet of nature.
Just 8 km from ONNI Village lies the famous Huuhanranta beach — one of the most stunning locations on Lake Saimaa. Often called a Finnish hidden gem, it offers about 1.5 km of pristine sandy shoreline, crystal-clear water, and plenty of space even during peak season. The fresh air from the surrounding pine forest creates a true feeling of a secluded nature retreat.

Exceptional
The location on Lake Saimaa is truly magnificent. You’ll find everything you need for a wonderful few days by the lake: a private beach (during high season, we were often the only ones there!), a children’s playground, a rowing boat (motor optional), toys for the kids, and a sauna. This was our second stay here, and we highly recommend it.
The beds could be a bit wider and softer, but that is probably a matter of personal preference.

I really loved the cottage and how clean it was. The location is peaceful, and the houses are spaced well apart for privacy. The beach was absolutely lovely, and my grandchildren had a wonderful time both in the lake and at the playground.
